He is responsive, easy to communicate with, and takes the time to thoroughly explain everything throughout the process. He also has a helpful and efficient team behind him. First I would like to thank Nathan and his team for the help provided throughout the process of buying my first home. I shopped around for mortgage companies and by far Vellum mortgage was the best, a very professional and dedicated team that provides answers to all your questions and concerns.
As a first time buyer Nathan and his team were able to provide me with a grant that helped me with my down payment and closing costs which made my purchase more easier and less costly.

I just bought my very first home, which is a daunting and intimidating feat. However, not once during the entire process did I feel stressed or overwhelmed, and it was all thanks to Nathan and Vellum. From the beginning, Nathan listened to what I felt my financial limits and concerns were, and did not try to convince me to go higher like other mortgage companies do. He and his team were always available to quickly respond to any questions or concerns that I may have had along the way. Since Vellum Mortgage is local, they were able to help get to closing only three weeks after my offer was accepted by the seller.
