I’ve been in the mortgage industry for over 25 years. I make a point of providing transparency about the mortgage process, as it helps people have a far better experience when they are confident and clear about how things are progressing. It’s also very important to me to take a holistic approach when we review your mortgage options, meaning I want to have a good understanding of your financial picture so that I can recommend the appropriate loan products for your needs.
I’ve participated with real estate and mortgage organizations over the years, including:
President of the Washington DC Association of Realtors in 2007, Member of the Board of Trustees for the DC Association of Realtors, Residential Board member of the Mortgage Bankers Association of Metropolitan Washington in 2011, 2012, 2025 & 2026.
Because of my experience, I have been interviewed as a mortgage subject matter expert for online lending resource HSH.com, the Washington Post, and The Washington Times.
Whether you are seeking pre-qualification, purchasing a new home, or exploring whether refinancing is the right option, I know I can help you make the best decision about your loan.
I was born and raised in Michigan and attended the University of Massachusetts-Amherst, graduating Cum Laude with a degree in Economics. I enjoy working in my yard, watching college football, and golfing with my sons whenever I can. I have lived in Washington DC for 27 years, with my wife, two sons and daughter.
