First time home buyer here and I have had nothing but a nightmare of a time dealing with Alec and Jeff from mindful mortgage. I wouldn't recommend this lending team to anyone. Mindful mortgage might be good, but this team is absolutely terrible. You would think this was their first time doing a loan with how bad it went. As a realtor, I always trust my local lenders, and in the Virginia/DC area, its even more important due to the pace and competitiveness of our market. Their diligence, patience, and experience in the field took away any of the anxiety that I had of finding my first home and made the process a smooth one. David was available, incredibly knowledgable and kind with answering all of my questions. His team is equally available and communicative every step of the way. David's entire team was fantastic. Responsive, clear, let me know what to expect, what was coming up, no surprises. The hand off between teams as the process was going on was easy and clear, I loved knowing who to talk to about what. I would call them up with random scenarios (putting more money down, less money, buying interest points, you name it I had a question) and they were so patience and great.  I closed on my home knowing I got the best deal and felt really good about it. Also their post closing follow up was great. Just wanted to share my overwhelmingly positive experiences with David Goldhirsh and his team. What impressed me most from our first meeting was that David is unreasonably generous with his time. He talked us through every last detail of the mortgage process--and every permutation of the financing for our first home--speaking with us for HOURS to ensure that we were happy with our decision. Since purchasing our home, David helped us again with our re-finance in 2021. And even talked us through various other mortgage products and services THAT THEY DON'T EVEN OFFER, referring other companies and mortgage lenders along the way. The integrity, care, and kindness of the Mindful Mortgage Team is beyond what I have experienced from any business I can recall. Another great mortgage easily secured through David and his team.

This was my 3rd property that I financed through David and his team and they never cease to amaze me with their simplicity. I am a very busy person like many others and David and his team made my life super easy and straightforward even when I bought an out of state property (which should be very complicated).

I've shopped around many times and David's rates are the best out there.
